Hospitality Worker Day Webinar

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division – in coordination with the Women’s Bureau, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Agency and the Office of Foreign Labor Certification – will mark Hospitality Worker Appreciation Day by offering a webinar on federal regulations governing workers’ wages and benefits and employers’ responsibilities in hotels, motels, restaurants and staffing agencies. In addition they will provide information related to the H-2B visa program. Feb 22, 6 am – 1 pm.

2024 Careers in Geer call for Employers

2024 Careers in Gear, April 25, 9 am – 2 pm will be returning to the Jackson County Expo, spanning two buildings and outside options. This annual spring event is an opportunity to capture youth job seekers moving into the workforce after school/graduation. Show off your business and COOLEST jobs. Employers can accept applications on the spot! Approximately 2000 high school Students will be in attendance. Day prior setup available. Registration: $125.00 includes draped booth & 2 lunches.
